Plants and animals were keenly observed by Mughal emperors. The fourth Mughal ruler Jahangir (r. 1605–1627 CE) and his son Shah Jahan (r. 1628–1658 CE) were known for their interest in botany. Imagery of the natural world is abundant in the arts of Mughal India, adorning jewelry, dagger hilts, miniature paintings, and fine enameled wares. These motifs persisted in the arts of India long after the collapse of the Mughal empire in the 19th century.</value></field><field label="Classifications" name="classification"><value>Metalwork</value></field><field label="Width" name="width"><value>5.7150114300</value><value>5.7000000000</value><value>4.6037592075</value></field><field label="Height" name="height"><value>7.4612649225</value><value>9.8000000000</value><value>2.6987553975</value></field><field label="Depth" name="depth"><value>7.5000000000</value><value>0E-10</value></field><field label="Id" name="id"><value>164743</value></field><field label="Source ID" name="sourceId"><value>4880</value></field></object>
